Gold Coins

Gold Coins (GC) are the platform’s social play currency used for entertainment gameplay. They let you spin slots and play standard social versions of table games without affecting sweepstakes prize eligibility. Think of Gold Coins as play-for-fun credits: they power your gaming sessions, and they are separate from any promotional currency that can be redeemed for prizes.

How Gold Coins Fit the Sweepstakes Casino Model

SweepFan operates a dual-currency sweepstakes model. Gold Coins are for standard, social gameplay and do not carry cash value on their own. Sweeps Coins (SC) are the promotional sweepstakes currency that may qualify for prize redemption after meeting the platform’s requirements. The two currencies coexist on the same account but serve different purposes: Gold Coins for entertainment play, Sweeps Coins for sweepstakes entries and potential prize redemption.

How You Can Get Gold Coins — Confirmed and Typical Methods

Confirmed SweepFan methods:

• Purchase packages can include Gold Coins. For example, a documented $19.99 package is listed as including 50,000 GC plus 50 SC.
• The platform uses daily login rewards as part of its promotional structure.
• SweepFan supports an Alternative Method of Entry mail-in option that awards Sweeps Coins, not Gold Coins.

Typical ways sweepstakes platforms issue Gold Coins (general explanation):

• Welcome bonuses, daily login rewards, milestone promotions, and purchase packages commonly provide Gold Coins on sweepstakes platforms.
• If brand-specific details aren’t listed, check the promotion terms before assuming a particular bonus contains Gold Coins.

Do not assume every promotion awards Gold Coins; always read the specific offer terms.

Can You Buy Gold Coins?

Yes — Gold Coins are commonly included in paid packages on sweepstakes platforms. SweepFan documents a purchase offer that includes 50,000 GC and 50 SC with the $19.99 package. Some bundles mix both Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins, but that does not mean Gold Coins can be redeemed for cash. Review the package terms before buying.

Playing Games with Gold Coins

Gold Coins power gameplay on eligible social casino titles. On sweepstakes platforms, that typically includes:

• Slots
• Blackjack
• Roulette
• Video poker
• Craps
• Live dealer–style social games

SweepFan’s game catalog comes from many providers, including NetEnt, Evolution Gaming, Betsoft, Big Time Gaming, and others, which supply a broad mix of slots and table games. Check the game lobby or the game details to confirm whether a title accepts Gold Coins for play.

Gold Coins vs. Sweeps Coins — Key Differences

• Purpose: Gold Coins are for social, entertainment gameplay. Sweeps Coins are the promotional sweepstakes currency that can qualify for prize redemption after meeting the platform’s requirements.
• Cash value: Gold Coins do not have cash value. Sweeps Coins, when “qualifying,” may be redeemable for prizes according to the platform rules.
• Redemption: Sweeps Coins may be redeemable for cash or gift card prizes once playthrough and minimum thresholds are met. Gold Coins are not redeemable.
• Conversion: Gold Coins are not normally convertible into Sweeps Coins. Bundled packages may include both types, but conversion between the two is not the same as direct exchange.

Cash, Redemption, and Conversions — What You Need to Know

• Cash value: Gold Coins do not represent cash and cannot be cashed out. They are for entertainment use only.
• Prize redemption: Only qualifying Sweeps Coins are eligible for prize redemption. SweepFan’s documented rules include a 1x playthrough requirement on Sweeps Coins before redemption, and a minimum redemption threshold of 100 qualifying Sweeps Coins. Redemption options include cash prizes and gift cards.
• Conversion: There is no confirmed routine method to convert Gold Coins into Sweeps Coins. Where both currencies appear together, it may be because a purchase or promotion bundles them.

Always check the specific promotion and redemption terms before assuming any currency can be redeemed or converted.

Checking Balances, Expiry, and Limits

• Check your balance: Your Gold Coin balance appears in your SweepFan account wallet or game lobby. If you see a discrepancy, contact support at contact@sweepfancasino.com and reference the relevant transaction or promotion.
• Expiry: Brand-specific expiration terms for Gold Coins are not confirmed here. Some platforms set expiration windows for promotional currencies, while others do not. Review SweepFan’s official terms and promotional rules for any expiry details.
• Limits and restrictions: Play and redemption rules vary by promotion and game. SweepFan also restricts access from certain states. Confirmed restricted states include California, Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, and Washington. Eligibility is limited to eligible legal residents of the United States who are not located in restricted territories, and you must meet age requirements specified in the platform’s rules.

Does Gold Coin Gameplay Affect Sweeps Coin Balances or Prize Eligibility?

Gold Coin play is separate from Sweeps Coin activity. Playing with Gold Coins typically does not earn or reduce Sweeps Coins, nor does Gold Coin gameplay count toward Sweeps Coin playthrough or prize eligibility unless a specific promotion states otherwise. If a promotion links the two currencies, that linkage will be described in the promotion’s terms.

Mail-In Option and Alternative Methods of Entry

SweepFan documents an Alternative Method of Entry mail-in process that awards Sweeps Coins, not Gold Coins. Key confirmed points:

• AMOE reward: 3 Sweeps Coins per valid mail-in request.
• AMOE process: Players generate a code at sweepfan.com/amoe, submit the required envelope-based mail-in request, and follow the rules.
• Crediting window: Mail-in credits post in 10 to 20 days.
• Rules: The AMOE requires a request code, specific envelope and handwriting requirements, and strict details such as ink color and postmark conditions. Follow the published AMOE instructions exactly to ensure credit.
